Should anyone have any reason or objective for blogging? What is the need to have an objective? Most of the things we do are not inspired by any logic. Blogging is the “in” thing now. Do we need any reason to follow the latest trends ? But, the case with blogs is very strange. The truth is that majority of blogs have no comments and this makes the blogger post less and less.Eventually , the blog lasts in about a month and the blogger moves to other “in” thing on the web. The possible reasons which makes us blog are : 1. Blogs give the freedom of speech. We have an urge to share our views. 2.Some people blog because of their curiosity.They want to feel the buzz about the blogs. 3.It’s the “in” thing now .Everyone and his/her cat is writing a blog. So why shouldn’t i. 4.Making friends having similar interests, social networking and relation building. ……. and many others Now what is my reason of blogging ? I am in IT related field and reading and writing blogs helps me to learn new ideas from other people in IT industry. My objective is learning, collaborating and knowledge sharing. What is your reason of blogging ? or you don’t feel the need of any reason or objective.

top 10 topics to write about in a blog

I finally decided to write one more post for my blog after a long time and in future I will be a bit regular (atlest three one post a week). I wanted to write but most of the time I was unsure what to write about. So I decided to find how and what other bloggers write. This is my attempt to answer the question “what do I blog about ?”. I searched the internet, did some analysis and came up with this report.
Here goes the list of top 10 topics to write about in a blog :
1. Post about industry news
A good example is Scobleizer posting about the release of acrobat 8 . Keep a regular watch on the industry related to your interest. Post about something unusual or interesting happening in the industry.

2. Write about the posts of other bloggers
Keep a list of blogs and forums which you feel interesting and visit them regularly. Give your views about any post you read there. For e.g. SEO Black Hat in the post Best. XSS. Ever. is giving his views about what he read at www.threadwatch.org/ ( wonderful time sink at Threadwatch .

3. Post about any good website you know
Whenever you came through any interesting website you can post about this in your blog. Websites like meebo and campfire are very interesting to tell others about.

4. Post pictures, audio or videos
If you have any good pictures you can post them. Videos and audio act as interesting stuff for a blog and help in increasing their popularity.

5. Information or tutorial
Information or tutorial about any particular task can help to get a lot new visitors. A post like this providing others information about what to post in a blog or post like How To Get Dugg More: Digg for WordPress Plugin

6. Views or reviews about books, softwares
Give reviews about any book you read or any new software you have used. Mention the new features of the software and compare it with its other counterparts. The post should be informative for the readers. Review the book giving about what you like or do not like¼br /> about that book.

7. Write articles using keywords that have less or no competition

8. News from Google or Yahoo
Post about any interesting news you read on Yahoo or Google News. These can act as a source for interesting posts. People search for what is in the news and they will find you if you are fast enough.

9. Give predictions about anything like the market, the industry or future trends.
Give some logical reasons for your prediction. For example Social Networking Sites May Face Label’s Legal Ire.

10. Give controversial or very unusual information
Controversial of unusual information attracts visitors. Say you will definitely like to see the post How to Get 200,000 Visitors a Day
